In April 2018, the community held Pave The Way To Gular, a four day street art festival. Eleven renowned artists from all over the country landed in Gular to work their magic. The artists worked to create murals on buildings and footpaths, the town’s water-tower, as well as collaborative works and workshops. These works have transformed Gular, and continues the town’s artistic vision as well as driving tourism.
This project was funded by Destination NSW Incubator Fund (2018), Coonamble Shire Council, Wattyl Australia, CRT, Coates Hire and Gulargambone Co-op.
