Now in its fourth year, Pave The Way to Gular Street Art Festival presented by the Gular Co-op, will this year be using billboards as their canvas. The huge billboards will be erected along the Riverwalk providing six mural surfaces to be transformed by prominent visiting artists.

As well as billboards, the old service station at the corner of Bourbah Street and the highway will be painted by visiting stencil artists.

The line-up this year includes well-known artists Kasper, Suki, Zac Craig, Viki Murray, Manda Lane, Michael Bourke, Leo Uribe and local Gamileroi man Frank Wright.

Artists have designed provocative concepts referencing mental health, climate change, animal extinction and other environmental and political issues, promising a myriad of interesting and exciting live paintings and large-scale works.

In addition, the murals will be amplified by small metal sculptures attached to the framework, helping to blend the structures into the environment.

There will also be a street party to close the festival including live entertainment, a range of market stalls including food vans, and workshops while taking the opportunity to meet the artists and get to know the locals.

Entry is free and buses from Dubbo will be available
