The Gulargambone Bowling Club is a small, Community-based club offering social and competition bowls (both Pennants and In-house) in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our members range from juniors to seniors and everyone in between.
We are continuing to upgrade and make ongoing improvements to the club and while there are always challenges the benefits of providing a sustainable and viable venue for now and into the future. Our ‘Kingfisher’ Gaming Lounge has been completely revamped with quality machines and have added Keno into the mix providing an additional gaming experience.
We also have a dedicated Meeting Room or can be used for a small private function.
Chinese meals are available from Thursday to Sunday Nights and able to host special occasions on request. Bingo is held on a Thursday every fortnight at the Club and check our Facebook page for details.
Friday Night is Market Night with meat tray raffles and Joker draw. The Club maintains poker machines, a juke box and pool table for members and visitors to use and is in the process of creating an outdoor entertainment precinct. We have also installed for the kids a Megatoy playground system for them to enjoy while you sit and relax along with upgrading our BBQ facilities.
We produce a 6 monthly events calendar with a host of a variety of events that create a difference in the outback. These assist in helping people plan ahead and especially if people are travelling through or on a return trip visiting the infamous Gulargambone Caravan Park. We are also on Facebook so you can keep up-to-date at what’s happening at the club and in the community.
As a central community hub, the Club is available for functions and any community events with no hire fees. We maybe a small community but there’s always something happening in town whether at the Club, 2828 Café, Lions Club, Gular Hotel, Gular Co-op, Jockey Club, Schools, Rugby Union, Carnivals or just a general get together for a reunion and enjoy sunset sippers with your mates.
